My forth one

I have now bought four of these and that says it all I should think :). I have them in black, marine, marionberry and gray. The next step will be to get some cropped too.

They don't loose shape, they don't pill, they don't smell and they are comfortable over the tummy. It's actually almost the only thing I wear on my bottom part nowadays.

They tend to get looser with time (like all other fabrics) but get their shape back after a wash again.

I had an issue with wear on my absolutely first pair quite a few years ago when wool& had some quality problem with the fabric, but a very swift and helpful customer support gave me a credit for a new pair without any discussion. The Wool& customer support are fantastic!

Correction: 5 stars of course

I accidentally clicked 3 stars instead of 5 on the review I just submitted - of course I meant to give 5 stars!

Long and perfect

I got the axis midweight as a reward for my 100-days challenge (and also treated myself to a t-shirt). Originally I had planned to treat myself to another dress once I finish the challenge, but ironically during the challenge I did realize that I don't need and don't want to have too many clothes anymore. But I could use some proper basics. Therefore I went for the leggings and the t-shirt. And what can I say, I absolutely love them. They feel great, they fit perfectly. For the Brooklyn wrap dress I had exchanged a size M for an S because M was just too loose. For the leggings I chose M (long) and it fits just right. The length is perfect in spite of my overly long legs. My jeans size is usually a 30"x36". It is quite high waist, it goes up to my ribcage, which makes it quite comfy around the belly, even after a proper meal. The pocket is surprisingly big, if need be I would even be able to fit my phone in. Looking forward to wearing these on a 7h train ride for a business trip next week along with my Brooklyn wrap: it's going to look smart yet feel totally comfy.

Great for winters

I use it both as outerwear and innerwear (thermals). Keeps me warm all the time without making me feel baggy. The waist felt a bit tight on me, but eventually I got used to the feeling. Goes well with my wool& dresses.

Fantastic leggings

I want to start by saying that I have not always been a huge fan of leggings in general. I wore them as a teenager, but never found any I liked as an adult... too short, too tight, too thin etc. These leggings are something else though. They are comfortable, warm, not at all itchy and long enough. I have already worn them several times for warmth and for layering and I've already considered buying a second pair. These leggings are great!

Lovely colour, a bit long for shorter legs

The colour of these leggings is fantastic and goes with nearly everything, in my opinion. My first pair was cut too narrowly and long outside the medium specs so I generously received a replacement pair. This is still a little longer and tighter than a previous navy pair of axis leggings I have, so measurements can vary a bit, but it fits fine and is super comfy. Would also suit somebody with longer legs than me (I ordered regular length) - but I can just fold the last bit at the ankle over. I am between an S and M and wear S in most Wool& dresses I have tried. I have Summit shorts in S that I like the tighter fit of but definitely would not want to go smaller than M in Axis leggings.

Best leggings ever!

I held off for over a year, thinking the price tag high for a basic pair of leggings. However, they are a marvel and worth every penny. I take a M in most wool& garments, so went for M regular despite being on the cusp of L according to measurements. Glad I did - the fit is snug but extremely comfortable, with a high waist and a good leg length. I wear them with wool& dresses but also for running and hiking. I don’t think I can recommend them highly enough!

Best leggings ever

These are the best leggings I've ever come across. I now owns one each of black, dark marionberry, gray and marine. Which pretty much illustrate my liking of them.
They are comfortable, don't roll up, don't slip down. They are fully opaque, the don't get saggy and keep their shape. I only wash them by hand in cold water pretty rarely and it's not necessary to do more. They don't get smelly.
I recommend to wash them once before starting to use them as the dress tends to cling to them at first. This disappears after washing.

Worth every penny

I saved up to buy a second pair of Axis leggings because they are more comfortable than any other leggings I own. Now I have black and navy. I also own woolx Stella leggings which I save for the coldest days, but don’t love how thick Stella waistband is. In most days Fall, Winter, and Spring my Wool& leggings are great and after a year of wearing constantly they show no signs of wear. I love how I don’t notice the waistband. I can even sleep in them. I normally buy dresses in small or xs, but choose leggings in medium (exactly where the size chart places me.) perfect fit!

I’ve been looking at these for ages but thinking they were a bit pricey but I took the plunge and I don’t regret it. They are the best leggings ever! They fit well and don’t sag even after several days wear, and I love that you don’t have to constantly be washing them.
