Our most formal, work-ready style yet. The midweight ponte fabric provides structure with a touch of comfortable stretch. This tank dress comes with a back zip closure, back kick vent, and subtle inseam pockets. Shaping seam lines flatter your curves.

Sizing Tip: The Kalle Ponte Tank Dress is slim fit. Fits close to the body but is not tight. Hugs in all the right places for optimal layering.

We recently developed our Ponte fabric with a new supplier in Vietnam and are selling down on this legacy version made in Korea. See that version here. This version also has the original 12.5cm shorter back zipper.

My new favourite LBD

I love, love, LOVE Kalle. She is that most miraculous of garments - a perfect LBD for fancy nights out, AND as cosy as your favourite pyjamas. She dresses up or down and has taken me from a messy pottery class to a classy literary awards dinner with grace and ease.

I know some pear-shapes avoid the fitted styles, but Kalle flatters my curvy and bottom-heavy shape better than the swing dresses (in my opinion) as she doesn't swamp me, and celebrates my curves without clinging.

Perfect dress

Because this dress is more form-fitting, I was worried it might not fit correctly. However, the fit is perfect. It is a great length just above the knee and I love the colour. I am so happy that it has pockets too! This might be my favourite Wool & dress so far!

Amazing, but not for pear shapes

This could be the perfect dress! love the thick ponte material, and of course the pockets. I usually wear an XS but sized up to a large as this dress is more fitted at my largest part (hips and bottom). Unfortunately, this dress didn't work and would have needed tailoring-- the top was huge and gaping around the chest, and while I like how it hugged my bottom to make nice curves, it was totally unforgiven for a mommy-tummy. Honestly I prob need a version that is XS on top and M on the bottom! So I only recommend this to someone who is more hourglass or even straighter body shape.
