It is a fantastic skirt in a high quality and I would have loved to keep it. But... for me, being quite tall, it is just that bit too short for feeling comfortable (esp. on the bike etc). So, at least 5-10cm more length would have been perfect.
I loooove the dress. Put it on and immediately started my 30 day challenge, have worn it for two weeks straight (not my first wool& dress). At first it was a bit tight, as I'm between M an L on sizing chart, chest being smallest, with larger hips. It relaxed nicely.
I would recommend to check the waist placement measurement against a dress you own and like. For me this is that rare dress, for whom the dress waist hits at my natural waist, usually it's too high, as I have longer torso. And do the same for length if it concerns you.
Marine blue is very nice dark blue, I could totally see it as my prefered B in LBD. :)
I wish more companies had the default cup size they work to - in most cases, its a B or a C, and I think that may be the case here. I think their dresses work better for people with a smaller cup size. It's a Jersey fabric, so it's forgiving in that sense, but the waists ride up a lot if you're bustier, more empire line than natural waist and it's not especially flattering. Just sort of... Frumpy.
They're right about the fabric being easy to wash, quick to dry and doesn't really hold a smell. They're not bad dresses in that sense,if the shape works for you, then the rest probably will.
I looked forward to trying something with a fitted waist, but it was higher than my natural waist which made it very unflattering for me. So I'll stick to models where I can decide where the waist goes with a belt :). Material was lovely though.
This dress is a dream. I have been searching for a dress in this style for many many years. I love the fabric and the fit but I am not a huge fan of black (I am attempting the 100-day challenge and I didn't think the red would be a good option) If this dress ever comes out in a navy blue or green style I will scoop them both up. I also think this would make a nice sleeveless style since I prefer dresses to have a waist instead of popular wool& swing style.
The dress look stunning, is super flattering and amazingly versatile. Perfect to accessorize, just not meant for a hot summer
I bought this in black for my 100day challenge. I‘m on day 19 today, and still liking it a lot. It’s very comfortable, I intendedly chose a slightly bigger size because I wanted a blousy sweater effect on my 85E chest. Versatile too, can be dressed up and down.
I bought the dress after lots of thought and was quite worried about whether it would fit well or be itchy (I usually can’t wear wool) or just whether I would like it. The results are all good. Fit is good. It’s not itchy at all (and at the moment the weather is pretty warm) and I do like it.
I have been wearing it with different short cardigans which give a different look to the dress and have had some compliments! So I’m happy. I plan to continue wearing it for the 30 days if possible - 13 so far and only one wash - and buy another one for winter.
Finaly I found ny perfekt dress! It fits som nice to my bodyshape (pear). Color is beatuyful and the fabric is soft, jet keeps good shape. I love this dress! True to sice.
