I own many wool shirts in the past but this is the first time I'm purchasing from Wool&. The fit of the shirt is amazing (I got XS which is my usual size in other brands), the scoop neck is flattering and the pink colour I bought was definitely a nice change from the darker colours you get when you're purchasing wool. The fabric has a lovely non-itchy feel and does feel much more durable than 100% wool. However, this material is very very thin and see through. Why is it only 160 gsm? Most wool shirts out there now are at least 190gsm. The combination of the light colour and thin fabric makes it definitely see through even with skin coloured bra. Being this thin it's also not insulating at all. This is something to wear in the spring/summer only despite the 3/4 sleeve. I'm keeping it for now because of all the pros but I will definitely bear in mind the downsides in any future purchases. I hope that Wool& continue to make more colours of this shirt (burgundy, plum, lapis, emerald, etc) but I also hope that they would make them a tad bit thicker.

Celine has a delicate feminine vibe. Blush pale pink colour definitely adds to this style.
I ordered a small and a medium size as I was in between the two according to the size chart and my other items. Shoulders and under arms are set well on my frame. It is definitely a slim fit but small size was more than comfortable for me. Medium felt looser, therefore a bit took away from the overall design. But again, I’m on the slender side. Someone with stronger shoulders and fleshier, muscular arms would probably need to size up.
I’m pleased with the mid hip length. Fabric is lightweight and has a lovely sheen. It shows bra patterns though, so best to get a matching shade on. Neckline is modest enough and covers bra straps.

The design team got this elbow tee spot on! When they say it hugs in all the right places, they mean it. I’ve been looking for an elbow sleeve tee forever, something that you can wear in the summer but also use as a layering piece in the winter. This is an elegant style that I can wear with dresses or trousers.

🌈COLOUR: I’m definitely getting the spring/summer vibes with this one! I wore them with my pink sneakers for contrast, with salmon trousers for a tonal look and with an embroidered jacket for statement. Love all the combinations!

🧳DOES IT FILL A GAP? Yes, most certainly. I own long sleeve tops and crew tees but the elbow sleeves are a huge plus for me. I can imagine that it would be a great addition to a capsule wardrobe. When I travel to India, I find it warm outdoors but sometimes a little too cool in air-conditioned environments. So you can easily wear a jacket over if necessary and the sleeves don’t feel bulky.

👗STYLING IDEAS: I tried mine over a denim skirt, with trousers and a mini – and it seems to look great with all! I might even get the black, which I can imagine will be more versatile and easier to combine with other items.
