Not my first wool& item. I found this one a tad itchy so washed on receipt with ecover. Delightful to wear, fits really well. I’m a UK 12/14. Easy to wash and hang dry. I want more now. Be warned, wanting more is going to be a problem for you too!
I will join the legions of Wooland devotees and say emphatically, Yes, Marionberry is the most beautiful colour ever. And it plays well with so many other colours. Layers great under Summer Midi or over Margo.
I ordered a Large because of broad shoulders, and the shoulder seams hit just right. The bust wasn't too tight and relaxed to my figure. It was a wee bit too loose in the waist and the sleeves were not as tight as I like, but totally acceptable. I will probably order a Black in Medium since wool is so forgiving, then decide which size to order a Forest Night Sloan.
I wanted a long sleeve tshirt to layer under my Wool& Sierra dresses and also to wear with jeans etc. I ordered up a size as I wanted a slightly looser fit and it was perfect! Excellent quality as always and I love the Marionberry colour. I will definitely be ordering another one if any are released in a colour I'd like.
Lightweight top in the famed Marionberry. Not my first choice of colour but one which was available in my size and allowed me to order in time to benefit from the 'gift with purchase' Frankie shorts! Since getting it I've barely reached for anything else! Goes perfectly under my grey Sierra (currently being worn for the 100 day challenge) and actually is a pretty neutral colour, pairing with lots of others well. Cosy and soft, a warm garment alone but also works well as a base layer as it's thin and fitted. I'd order the next size up if I wanted to wear it over clothes, and may well do that for my next sloan, just to increase versatility
I now have two of these - one striped and one in delicious Marionberry. I needed to size up . These are very comfortable , smart enough to to be worn alone if needed and excellent as a base layer . They are thin and yet warm enough. Yes they are expensive but worth every penny .
