The fabric of Camelia is very silky and soft. It's lightweight enough to tuck in, yet still covers any bumps and is very robust. I found the dress to be versatile and could be worn as a long skirt too. It could be dressed down with a t-shirt knotted at the waist, dressed up with a belt, wrap and jewellery, or tucked into shorts for yoga. I wore this lovely dress in humid, 25°c heat, on a long walk without getting sweaty so this is the perfect summer dress. I'm in between sizes m-l on the chart. The purple fig colour is stunning in real life.
I’ve worn it a lot since it arrived. I had one in a reddish colour already from a mystery sale a couple of years ago, and ordered this purple one and a black one. The label says they’re the same size but the new ones seem slightly looser, especially around the armpits. This is actually quite handy for not soaking up as much sweat on a hot day but my bra does sometimes show a little. Really easy to wear and lovely soft fabric.
My 6th wool and dress I’m 77 a size 14 height 5ft 3 inches weighing 130 lb it fits just right hovers around the knee and very flattering The green colour is particularly nice
This is my second dress from Wool&. The fabric is just as lovely as in my Rowena and the colour (olive green) makes me happy. I fell in love with the colour, and ordered the dress in spite of my concerns that there would be an issue with bra straps showing in the sleeveless model. And yes, this will be a problem. The dress tends to move around on my shoulders and I find myself adjusting it often. Looking back, maybe I should have ordered a size down to get a more snug fit over my shoulders. But I don't like my clothes to be to tight over my bust. The eternal dilemma of existing while having a D-cup or beyond. I might try to add some little ribbons on the inside of the dress to fix it in place over my bra straps.
I still think I will use this dress a lot in the coming summer. Today I wear it layered under an open dark blue shirt dress, and it looks great.
Really pretty, flattering dress. The fabric is thin enough to be cool and drape nicely but structured enough so that a lace bra doesn't show up weird and lumpy. The length is perfect on me; short enough so I can ride my bike but long enough that I don't have to worry about flashing when I bend over.
The dress is beautifully soft and easy to wear. The fit is true to size (3XL), but as with almost all clothes made for bigger bodies, the fit seems to have been designed for someone with a much bigger chest. Since that's not the case for me, there is quite a bit of gaping under the arms, which I'm not a fan of.
I have several Wool& things in plum and was looking for a replacement to a beloved Ro (in plum) that had lightening spots from multiple attempts to remove some unknown stains. Sadly, sizing down did not work, so she is headed back, as I write this. One can only hope this color will come around again.
So pleased I finally decided to purchase the Plum Camellia Tank dress. The colour was true to that shown and having pockets is brilliant though a shorter length option would be good as it's a little longer than my ideal. Most importantly the dress fits me so well . Worn daily as I feel great wearing it and going to be perfect for traveling light
My second dress from Wool&, The plum cameilla ,, I would have preferred black but it had sold out, the dress is lovely, still not 100 per cent sold on the colour, fabric is soft and flowy and the pockets are not obvious, fits better then a Cora which is what I was looking for.
I would also love a much longer length to be offered . I love this regular one as it hits just above the knee.
Great dress for warmer months! I was happy to have ordered the longer length as it gives a certain elegance when worn with a belt. I’d certainly recommend it. I imagine the dress is great in winter with leggings and a T-shirt.
