I have such mixed feelings on this dress.
As soon as I tried it on I knew that this would be a great dress for the 100 day challenge as it is so soft and comfortable, but also super versatile in that it can easily be layered, dressed up or down, but equally looks lovely on it's own.
I have also found the odor resistance of the fabric amazing! And it feels much better on hotter days than the majority of my clothes from other brands and does not need washing anywhere near as frequently as other fabrics.
BUT, day 18 a hole appeared, which I thought was odd as I had spent most of the previous few days sat at my desk, so hadn't done anything to put strain on the dress, but I sewed it up and moved on. Then on day 29 the stitching around the neckline started to come undone. I am currently on day 37 and now wondering how many repairs I will have to make in the next 63 days, which is disappointing given the price of the item.
After looking at the other reviews I am thinking I might have just received a defective dress, as others don't seem to have these issues. So hopefully for others this is just a one off, but obviously very disappointing to me.
I also wish that the long was an option on the XS, as at 5' 7" this is slightly short.
Hi Rebecca, we're glad to hear you love the style and fabric of your dress! We definitely wouldn't expect any structural issues with your dress within the first few weeks and would love to take a closer look to see how we can assist you. If you send some photos and additional info to email@example.com, we'd love to see what you are seeing. Thank you!
The fabric is thin and feels silky, and I love the way the dress fits-it's forgiving, but still has shape. I have a long torso and it falls just above my knees. The pockets are well constructed! On my computer, the plum color looked very different in the photos than it does in real life-I like the real color so much more. It's very rich and makes me feel kind of like a goddess :D.
This is my eighth or so purchase from this company and, as always, it did not disappoint! Lovely rich blue colour, great softness and weight and perfect drape. This will be a casual summer staple in my closet although I also think it could be dressed up with heels and a belt.
I did 30 day challenge in a Sierra large. According to charts that seemed the right fit for me but really felt a bit to big. I loved that fabric though, so was a bit unsure about Camellia.
But the size M is really the right one for me and the fabric great for warmer wheater together with sleveless.
Have just started the 100 days in this one, still wearing Rowena and Willow under, but when temperatures will increase it will be only Camellia and a scarf or jeansjacket.
First of all, I had some difficulties choosing what size to order as bust, belly and hips each would have required a different size. I opted for the middle and went for an 1X.
Although this size should have given me enough room around the bust, it did not. The upper part was too tight, neckline, arm holes, bust, just everything. As the fabric is also very thin it showed nipples, bellybutton. The fit reminded me of slinky material. Around my belly it was to tight to look good and towards the bottom of the dress it was all baggy and wrinkled.
So I have send it back and honestly, even if someone would pay me a 140 Euro to wear it, I won‘t because of it‘s thin fabric and unflattering look and fit.
After ordering I went to the US site and found some raw, not Instagram-my pictures of the dress and I immediatly regretted not doing it first because then I would not bother ordering it.
As shipping time, customer service and return und refund for the dress were very quick and without any issues, I add an star for that.

Beautifully light, smooth and non-itchy fabric that's stood up to everything I've thrown at it over the last 100+ days.
I've worn Camellia up ladders to prune grape vines, while scrambling around in trees, to make fences and dig holes, to lug around heavy bags of mortar... and she's shrugged off everything. Airing and spot cleaning have kept her fresh and clean, and she's kept me pleasantly cool, or nice and warm, depending on the weather. And the pockets really work! I can shove my phone in my pocket and then get on with my day without it falling out.
I'm tallish and I went for the standard length dress which comes above the knee but works beautifully with leggings, or bare legs if the weather's warm enough.
The dress was light and fit really well although I might have wanted a large to layer over a shirt or something. I was impressed by the fabric, very light and it felt lovely on. It looked smart on me with the belt but felt very comfortable without.
The reason for not keeping it is that I really want a dress that doesn't require layers and it is approaching winter in England (even in summer it is rare to want a sleeveless dress without an extra layer). I might have kept it as a dress to keep in the wardrobe for hot days but the point of a wool& dress is to reduce the wardrobe isn't it? So, sadly I sent it back. I'll wait for a sleeved dress to come in stock.
This is the dress I have been looking for as it fits my shoulders perfectly. I have narrow shoulders so most clothes fall off my shoulders, but not this dress. The fabric has a lovely feel and looks good on. I chose this dress as it seemed to allow the most options in the way to wear it as I wanted to do the 100-day challenge and so far it has been great.
The only downside is I would prefer a longer dress, so if they ever do XS in long I will buy it for sure. :-)
It’s been a week since camellia tank dress arrived - and since than I keep wearing it every day. I was surprised how light, thin, comfortable, smooth, yet strong and durable the fabric is. I chose the tank dress, because it’s easy to combine with shirts, jackets and co and so really versatile in options, which was important for me because I wanted to take part in the 100day challenge.
