This is my third wool& dress, just like the Maggie a perfect fit for me in a size L. Perfect for layering, beautiful material, I was shocked at how gorgeous the marine blue color is in person. It's stunning! Although I live in an area where it's cold and often wet, this dress still layers nicely with thermals underneath and will be perfect on its own in the summer.
This dress is a very lightweight material with seam pockets. There are side seams but there’s no other detailing. I went for a long length version which covers my knees, however I think I should have a been a tad braver and gone for the regular length.
I can’t comment on how the dress washes because I haven’t yet! I’m on day 13 of my 100 day challenge in Camellia and so far it’s been super easy to layer both under and over the dress. I’m looking forward to summer with no sleeves though.
Very happy so far. I’ve already added a Sloan to my collection too. Brilliant customer service in retuning the other dress I ordered for size.
I've been really pleased with the fit and comfort of this dress after several months of occasional wear. I purchased it in the fall and so far I've only worn it with other layers, but I look forward to wearing it more regularly in warmer weather. I'm not very curvy and I like how the style fits on on my frame from all angles, and the length. I love the marine blue color, and find it is light enough to work well paired with black, but not too light to easily show dirt!
I love this dress. It's wonderfully light and very flattering. I wasn't sure about how a sleeveless dress would hold up to daily wear, particularly under the arms, but so far it's been brilliant. It's easy to dress up or down and always makes me feel wonderful
Love this dress. Its simple and great to style. Love the option of the long length since most dresses are cut too short for me.
The colours are really nice, the fabric has a nice fall and dries quickly, although the skirt part can look quite flimsy and the fabric clings to the legs sometimes. Still, 10/10 would get one again.
I am looking forward to new dress models similar to this one, as i dont like the style with waist emphasis at all. I would appreciate a wide cocoon dress or a short caftan dress style. Those would be awesome.
Beautiful colour. Pockets too low, dress too long for my liking (way past my knees).
The Camellia is my fifth dress and I love it just as much as the others. The fabric is soft and slick and has a nice fall to it. Pockets are always a big plus and I like that they are in-seam and almost invisible.
I got the regular length and it hits just above the knee.
Absolutely love this dress, I have worn it every day for over 20 consecutive days in the cold and the heat. I've gone hiking, cycling, drinking, and dining in it. I've worn it to work and to walk the dog and it's perfect for everything. Fabric is light and so soft an the pockets are amazing without feeling bulky. It's definitely odor resistant even with copious amounts of sweating. I've rinsed it once in cold water in the sink and it dried very quickly. Excited to complete the 100 days challenge!
Beautifully soft fabric, lovely colour, comfortable and surprisingly cool on this unusual scorching weather we’re having. I’m glad I bought a larger size as it is loose and flowing. I feel a smaller size might not have looked as flattering for my “apple” shape!
I have such mixed feelings on this dress.
As soon as I tried it on I knew that this would be a great dress for the 100 day challenge as it is so soft and comfortable, but also super versatile in that it can easily be layered, dressed up or down, but equally looks lovely on it's own.
I have also found the odor resistance of the fabric amazing! And it feels much better on hotter days than the majority of my clothes from other brands and does not need washing anywhere near as frequently as other fabrics.
BUT, day 18 a hole appeared, which I thought was odd as I had spent most of the previous few days sat at my desk, so hadn't done anything to put strain on the dress, but I sewed it up and moved on. Then on day 29 the stitching around the neckline started to come undone. I am currently on day 37 and now wondering how many repairs I will have to make in the next 63 days, which is disappointing given the price of the item.
After looking at the other reviews I am thinking I might have just received a defective dress, as others don't seem to have these issues. So hopefully for others this is just a one off, but obviously very disappointing to me.
I also wish that the long was an option on the XS, as at 5' 7" this is slightly short.
