Comfortable and versatile.
In future will size down to xs, the colour and fabric are beautiful, the dress feels well made. Being petite though it is very long (below knee) and arms are also far to long for my frame. Will take up hem after washing in case it shrinks slightly.
Shoulders and neck fit okay, so will be keeping!
Beautiful dress. Amazing quality. Wear it already 13 days in a row without washing and it still looks brandnew. I just hang it out every night.
I was happy that I ordered a size smaller than my normal size. The only thing is that I wished the sleeves were a little bit longer. But I guess I have relatively longer armes because I have this problem with a lot of brands.
I got the marine blue XS Rowena as my reward dress after completing the 100 day challenge. It looks and feel great. The colour is gorgeous and the shape is flattering. Love it!
This is my third Wool& dress, so you can guess I like them! The style of the Rowena has changed a little (less wide in the neck, less swing), but this actually suits my petite frame better. I love that their dresses look so good, but feel so comfortable.
When I put on the dress I immediately felt good in it! So soft, so thin and light but surprisingly warm. Throughout a day where I normally would put on a sweater, take it off, put it on again, to balance temperature changes, with the rowena I stay comfortable all along. Color and fit are great too. However, I was somewhat surprised to see that it is 22% Nylon and not 100% Merino wool. I don't think you mention this on your website. I haven't been able to find detailed product description, only sufficiently vague statements that allow you to say it is made from wool (without mentioning that is made from 22% plastic, not biodegradable and might produce microplastics in the wash). I find this lack of transparency regrettable. Maybe you found the use of nylon necessary to get the right fit/ flow /durability of form but in that case, it should be stated on the website. I also wonder if it can be all that necessary and if you could not, instead, try to make a true wool dress, 100% wool. If you did so, I sure would be first in line for a 100% wool dress.

This was my reward dress, and since it arrived I have worn it out for dinner, to the cinema and plan on wearing it regularly to school (I'm a teacher) and I go back after half term tomorrow. It is a bit more snug that the Sierra in the same size near the bust, so I did feel a bit of stretching in the back. The arms were also a little snug on me, but not so much that they are uncomfortable.
Unfortunately this dress is only 78 % wool and that is a real shame. I was in such a hurry tot start my 100 day challenge that I only saw it when I took it off at night therefore I couldn't return it. It doesn't feel as warm en natural as I would have liked. I will not wear it for 100 days and I will not be ordering anything else. A real shame.....

Worth every penny.
I have some merino wool bits so was happy enough with the price but wasn’t expecting the quality of the fabric to be so good. I got the black rowena which has a lovely sheen to it and makes it look much dressier than I thought. The cut is really stylish and flattering. I’m nine months post partum and have lost most baby weight but still have a bit of a tum which this doesn’t show at all. The loose fit means it’s also surprisingly easy to breastfeed in with leggings underneath. I’ve worn three days in a row now and have received loads of compliments already, so not sure if I’d make it to 100 without people noticing. It does tuck in nicely under clothes as a base layer too and seems to be doing the job of keeping me nice and warm. I’m short and the length is a touch longer than I’d usually go for but still looks good so no need to take it up, the rest of the fit still works for my frame. Overall I’m surprised how much I like this dress. I was lured in by the challenge but I’m already eyeing up other pieces I might buy.
