Easy to wear and really comfy. Styling tops over it looks good but have struggled with tying it up to wear with trouser as the pockets get in the way and don't look good. Not as good on the "non smelly" front as other merino dresses I have (I assume due to the nylon mix).
Chest measurements said S, hips were M/L according to size chart. S fits fine due to the swing style.
Feels as if it is part of me. And pockets too!
I have received the dress and of course tried it on as soon as it got here but have yet to wear it. I am waiting for warmer days! :)
It looks great and I am excited about wearing it. It is the perfect addition to my collection (I already own 2 long sleeved dressed).
Very happy with my new Maggie long in vintage blue. Size and length are perfect, and I like the slimmer cut (than Rowena) and short sleeves.
A basic dress with a slight A-line which goes with just about everything.
I wasn’t sure if I’d like the swims dress but I have been pleasantly surprised! Now I want another one in a different colour. I think I would buy a size down though. It fits pretty good but maybe just a titch big.
I actually ordered this charcoal grey maggie for sleeping in, having previously tried out my xxl long forest night maggie as an experiment and found I slept brilliantly in it (helps amazingly with the hot flushes!)
However the 2x is actually a much better fit than my xxl long and I love the slightly shorter length too. I will probably end up ordering another in a different colour at some point as I do love the cut of this dress.
The dress style is perfect but the nylon content have the material an unpleasant texture and despite being predominantly merino, meant the dress felt quite manmade. As a knitter, I value the feel and drape of wool, and this was there but I couldn’t wear this dress. If you create a wool and cotton blend I’ll be buying straight away!
Hi Karen, thanks for your feedback. We do have some 100% wool and natural fiber blends on the way!
I have just received my Maggie and I’m delighted with it. I completed the 100 day challenge last year in a charcoal Sierra and loved it but think Maggie might be even more versatile. Thank you for making such good quality dresses.
My new Maggie charcoal has arrived and I am in love! Again - after my 100-day-dress-challenge in black Rowena and my slate blue Fiona…
Like the other dresses Maggie is a simple and basic dress made of wonderful quality fabric.
This dress looks flattering, the drape is beautiful and the color goes with every other item of my (quite minimalistic) wardrobe.
I‘m happy that there is somewhat less fabric and less swing in the body of this dress than in Rowena and no pleat in the back. Maggie looks more fitted and I feel extremely comfortable wearing her.
There is only one more thing I want to mention: Maggie XS comes really short!
The length works for me, because I wear my dresses with thick tights or leggings most of the time, but I‘d LOVE a long XS version of Maggie! I tried the Maggie S long, but unfortunately the upper part - shoulders and neckline - were way too loose and baggy on me, so I decided on keeping XS.
As I‘ve said I‘m more than happy with the decision, but please Wool&: make a XS long version of your dresses, too 😊
I bought this dress as it was LITERALLY the only dress available on the site so I bought a style I wouldn't have chosen, a colour I wouldn't have chosen, in a size I wouldn't have chosen and serendipity is a wonderful thing. The only thing I would change is to have the regular length not long. I was worried that she would look somewhat frumpy but the smaller size I (ordered m when my natural inclination would be L or even XL) and the scoop neck help to alleviate that. Belts are also a marvellous thing. The colour is perfect for Autumn into Christmas. Whether or not I manage to complete the challenge - no regrets.
