I have just received my Maggie and I’m delighted with it. I completed the 100 day challenge last year in a charcoal Sierra and loved it but think Maggie might be even more versatile. Thank you for making such good quality dresses.
I bought this dress as it was LITERALLY the only dress available on the site so I bought a style I wouldn't have chosen, a colour I wouldn't have chosen, in a size I wouldn't have chosen and serendipity is a wonderful thing. The only thing I would change is to have the regular length not long. I was worried that she would look somewhat frumpy but the smaller size I (ordered m when my natural inclination would be L or even XL) and the scoop neck help to alleviate that. Belts are also a marvellous thing. The colour is perfect for Autumn into Christmas. Whether or not I manage to complete the challenge - no regrets.
I am not a massive size by any means, but being quite tall and not skinny, my frame requires a proportionately larger size.. this was the largest size available.. It is actually quite nice and comfortable - not sure about the "heat-reducing" claims however - even in our currently fairly cool UK mid-summer - but I definitely could do with a bit more "wriggle room" - otherwise, very nice, but not sure it commands the price.. I will have to see how it goes ...
I bought an XL where I'd usually buy an L, as I didn't want to have to return internationally and it was more important it wasn't too tight.
I'm usually a 16 top and 14 bottom. It's loose and just the right fit.
I like the style, and was pleasantly surprised that the fabric is not too thick and warm, so it's wearable during the menopause!
It is a flattering cut, but not an exciting dress; I suppose this is at least partially the point.
