I have worn this for a few weeks and I generally like it. However, I feel like the fit around my boobs with the wrap part is not that great. It is relatively thin so don´t expect it to keep you warm in winter, you need another layering piece, likely. I also feel that for the size I have, it is a tad too long. But these are minor issues compared to its advantages.

I did my 100 day challenge 2 years ago and have since then many more Wool& dresses in my wardrobe. Ellie is my perfect dress. It fits my hourglass figure well, elegant and feminine & it’s easy to take care of! Less laundry, easy to spot clean and no wrinkles.

I use it to the office and use the marionberry or ocean teal version (previous color ways offered on the US site) for social events.

I love the fabric and thebway the dress feels and falls. The pocket are a wonderfull surplus. Worth the wait and expence.

Nice dress, beautiful fabric, is wearable as evening dress on cold occasions :)
Fits perfectly.

I like this dress - however, it runs small and does not very well accommodate wide hips. I have the Rowena dress in XL, the Brooklyn in L and both fit great. The Ellie is very much hugging my figure in a way that doesn't look nice in XL. I'm sending it back and hoping XXL will fit better. That's a bit of a shame because XL fits very well around my (ample) chest and shoulders. So we'll see if ordering XXL is the solution or if I need to return this dress for good.

Ellie is without doubt the most elegant and formal style available in EU market. The fit is close around arms, chest and back, yet is slightly A shaped around the tummy area, therefore quite forgiving. Thanks to the style it's not for everyday use but mostly "evening wear".

I love it! I was concerned it might be a bit clingier than the swing dresses and show up some unfortunate bumps but it’s very flattering and a good length too!

I should have bought this dress months ago - I’m not sure it would have been as good a challenge dress as my Maggie was, but it’s already one of my favourites and I’ve only had it hours!

The fit is good and the style of this dress is very flattering. The fabric is a lot thinner than I expected from merinowool and I'm not sure it's warm enough for winter.

I'm no stranger to Wool& dresses, as I happily completed the 100 day dress challenge in a Sierra. But it was the first time I tried one of the more fitted styles, and... wow!! I was really impressed with how nicely tailored and flattering it is. I was concerned that the waist would hit too high (as I am tall), but it works nicely. The top is quite low cut but I'm OK with wearing a layer underneath unless it's a party occasion. My usual size is between S and M, but it's a firm S (or S-long) in the Wool& dresses, and Ellie was no exception. The 3/4 sleeves seem slightly less tight (possibly marginally longer) than on a same-size Willow, and ride up less. Overall, Ellie may well turn out to be my favourite Wool& dress, and I would love it in different colors.
