I am normally a swing or fit and flare dress girl, so the fact that I love how Cora, a shift dress looks on me says a lot!
I love the slightly more open neckline, I find it more flattering than a crew neck but not worrisome like a plunging v-neck.
Without a belt, she is a casual t-shirt dress that can easily be paired with sneakers. With a belt, she looks ready for dressier events.
The sleeves fit nicely under the Landmark cardigan as well as the Lou Moto Jacket - so you can wear her all year long!
I’ve already completed my 100-day challenge, but if I were to do it again, I could easily do it in Cora!
Cora may be your dress! If you are like me and trying to break the tee and jeans routine (I’ve been in it for, gasp, 50 years) Cora may ease the transition. The lines are familiar but OMG the merino is oh so nice. Unlike cotton or blends it breathes.

I like Cora because of the straight lines and short sleeves, not to mention the belt. Material is thin and light and has a silky feel to it. Slits on both sides enough to walk comfortably while keeping it modest. I’m 173cm and length is just below my knees.
I had a size M in black already and found that as a the relaxed fit. This one is an S and feels a closer fit but still has a drape on the bottom half.
The cerise colour is vibrant and has a lovely pink tone.
As a reference, I wear S in Sierra and M in Margo.
I now have more than one of this dress. I love the way it fits. I love the new colour. I will add that I find the lighter colour does not 'hide' the lumps and bumps as much as the black or striped one does. But it's a great colour and I know different ways to dress it up :).
I absolutely couldn't recommend this dress highly enough! I took a long time to work out what I was going to wear for my 100 day challenge and in the end knew that I wanted a midi length and something that I could dress up or down. I also knew that I needed a colour that I LOVED, not just one I thought would be versatile (I'd also read that some people who chose black got quite fed up with it after a while), so teal Cora turned out to be perfect!
The dress is incredibly comfortable and I was able to wear it to clean, garden, shop, to work and to a wedding - it was so easy to dress up or down! If you're on the fence - buy it! You won't regret it!!! The only thing I'd say is that I bought a few additional different belts as I much prefered it cinched in at the waist and think it looks more flattering that way. That being said, the 100 days flew by and I was actually sad when it ended! I chose Ellie in pine as my reward dress and highly recommend that one too!
This is a wonderful dress. Runs a bit large perhaps (XS would have fitted quite well I suspect, while I normally wear S/M or EU38), but the material drapes beautifully, doesn't wrinkle, lets the body breathe and hardly ever actually gets dirty. Spot cleaning works beautifully. The mauve color is lovely and the belt adds a lot. On my short frame it's a tad longer than I would normally get, but after getting used to it for a while I like it lots. For Nordic winters it is a bit thin, but I can't wait to start wearing it more in the spring and over the summer.
I purchased Cora in Mauve and was unsure about the color, but I love it! It looks great and together with the soft fabric it creates a very feminine and elegant look. I also love to have the belt, as it gives me a bit of silhouette. I don't particularly like the look when I pair her with dark tights or leggings and I think that's because the dress is a little longer than most other dresses here. And with covered legs, it looks a little "old". I love her with bare legs or sheer tights.
I have two Coras. I liked my garnet Cora so much that I soon bought a second one in marine blue stripe. There are many things I like about these dresses, but the two star rating is for sloppiness. Besides several loose threads that weren't cleaned up before packaging, the marine blue stripe dress' belt has dark blue stitching about 10-15 cm long off centre in a white stripe. It really stands out no matter how I tie the belt. I asked customer service if this was a flaw and was informed that it is not. I thought it would be important for other people conidering this dress to be aware of this issue.
I like the drape and the feel of the dress very much. I chose the long version and happy I did. The accompanying belt makes the dress more versatile.
